We are a Black queer couple raising three incredible kids while building a home filled with love, laughter, and intention. Around here, you’ll find the real mix of cozy homemaking, chaotic parenting, and soulful cooking that makes up our everyday life.

Our Love Story ❤️

We met in a way that felt equal parts ordinary and extraordinary. Our two souls crossed paths at just the right time. Over the years, our love has grown through late-night talks, belly laughs, and the challenges that come with navigating life as a queer couple in a world that doesn’t always see us clearly. What grounds us is our commitment to each other and to creating a life where our kids feel safe, celebrated, and deeply loved.

Our Family 🏡

Together, we are raising three amazing children who keep us on our toes and teach us new lessons daily. From school projects and extracurriculars to bedtime chaos and Sunday dinners, our kids are at the heart of everything we do. You’ll often see them pop up in our stories - sometimes as the comic relief, sometimes as our little helpers in the kitchen, and always as the inspiration behind BlkAtHome.

 

 

Why BlkAtHome ✨

BlkAtHome was born out of our desire to share what real family life looks like for us. We’re not perfect, and we don’t try to be. Our home is equal parts mess and magic tossed with a lot of love, culture, and the belief that everyday rituals.
